Child photos are checked before a message is delivered. If automated safety analysis detects possible nudity, the photo is blocked rather than forwarded. If the server safety scanner is unavailable, the photo fails closed and is not sent.
Blocked means not deliveredChild video is sampled throughout the call for possible nudity. On iOS, the safety verdict stays on the device. On Android, small sampled frames are scanned transiently and are not stored. A safety detection ends the child video call.
